I love my Boba 3G! I tried an Ergo, but it was so bulky and didn't fit me well. Also, DS is a back archer, and the Boba body is taller and contains him better.
We also have a Beco Gemini, but it's heavily padded making it hot during the summer. In addition, it's better for smaller babies.
I don't remember exactly, but I think the 3G is newborn friendly without any insert, and it has footstraps for older kiddos, and a purse strap to secure the purse on your shoulder strap.
I have the Becco Gemini and am getting kind of mad I didn't find this instead b/c it is hot! The only thing, does this have a way to make where the legs come out less wide like the Gemini?
The Boba Air is not really structured and meant to be used for travel and short stints, from how I understand. It won't give you the same support and comfort. I have the 3G, but DS was so tall I never even used the snap down option meant for newborns, I just froggied him in it until he was big enough for legs out. If you had a bigger baby the 2G would work fine in that same way. I like it much better than the Ergo. By this age DD was arching in the Ergo and was able to lean way back because the shell isn't as high as the Boba. DS is nowhere near being able to do that. This was last week (forgive the spit up trail)

What's the difference between the 2G and the 3G?
[insert cell phone joke here]
