I'm seeing a Maternal Fetus Medicine doctor at UCSD La Jolla. His name is Dr David Schrimmer. He has been both my OB and specialist since day 1 of this pregnancy. Everyone said he's the best. He has a great team. Dr Moore is also great but he's the chairman of Reproductive Medicine Department and I don't know if he still accept new patient.
Are you seeing OB at UCSD as well? If so, who is your OB there? I don't thing my ob/peri will see me after delivery. I need to look for an ob in this group for follow up appointment.

i know he is high risk perinatologist. if you want to see if he specialize in gastroschisis, i think he should know. or else, his group should know. he has been ob for 10 years and peri for another 10 years. he is also very honest and will tell you whether he's good at this and refer you to someone else who will be better if he doesn't. i don't have his number now but google his name, the front desk will tell you if he can see you or someone else can see you better.
