HELP, What do you put on... (cute PIP added for funsies)

Nasty Drool Rash?

Nolan has had it forever but for the past 3 weeks it has been way worse, and is spreading to his upper chest, near his ears and has been appearing way more red , raised and raw.Sad

His Dr. said to keep it dry (duh) and use Vaseline as a water barrier.  I've tried that, aquafor and diaper cream and NOTHING is working.  Sidenote: Now he also has a random nasty redness in his nether region too (his first full blown diaper rash I guess), WTF???  I am guessing maybe a small virus since he has had more frequent BMs lately that are loose.

I could call his pedi again but I feel like he was not too helpful the first time I called (as there is not a heck of a lot you can do I guess?).  I read online that maybe I should try Lanolin?

    You could try bag balm from a farm supply store.
    i wish i could be joking but my dad is the music teacher at a church so he owuld be mad. we had sex, all the time how bad i know but we dont want to wait and he said GREAT OH KAY! and I was really feeling the wets? down there- too embarsed to say- but he acted like man.

    I've been using Aquaphor on his face.  I put baby powder on his chest and neck.  The powder seems to help, but it's a fight to get it in his neck rolls!

    No advice.  Aquaphor seems to work for us.  I did enjoy the pic tho!

    Does he take a paci? We had to switch paci for ds1 when his mouth got rashy... Mam air pacifiers which kept his face not close to the plastic.  It also took a while to get better but we used the aquaphor.

     That was my thought since nothing is making it go away, poor little dude.  Thanks for all of the advice ladies!!!  I just spoke to the Dr.'s assistant and she said she would talk to the Dr. about a prescription or something stronger than what we have been doing. I just hate seeing my boys with these ailments that just won't go away.
