I am starting another thread because I must know.  I read you can presign for it on the apple website after it ships.  Did they offer that last time? I've only ever gone in and bought them in the store in the past. This is my first time buying on the apple site.

    You can and I think that should work for you! I couldn't do it the other times because I always ended up buying it from the AT&T site because the Apple site had crashed and AT&T doesn't offer it. I'd pre-sign online and then also print it out and tape it to your door with your signature or something. 

    ETA- another reason I always have to be home for it is because I live in an apartment building without a doorman so I physically have to buzz the guy in so that's why it wouldn't work for me in the past.

    OK, I feel a little better now. I really didnt want to have to send it to DHs work because I know he will play with it before I got a chance to.  I am glad I ordered through apple after all now. I did try AT&T first but the stupid site wouldnt work for me. 

    That would be tough to make it work for an apartment delivery.

    Andplusalso, I am way too excited about this stupid phone. It bums me out MH could care less and is downplaying it. I think its only because he isnt eligible for an upgrade, so isnt getting one.  If he were, I think he would be more excited too.
