So has anyone heard of going to the chiropractor for fertility? I have a good friend who has been struggling with TTC for a few years now. After a few years of trying, they got a BFP followed up by a loss in late 2010 and then took some time off from TTC for a while. They are now back in the game and are trying a lot of different things to help their journey. She rarely, if ever, gets AF naturally and usually has to take medication to get it. Recently she started seeing a chriopractor and after only a few weeks seeing the dr, she got her period naturally for the first time in a looooooooooonnnnnng time for her. She said the dr was trying to realign her pelvis and also mentioned that the spine is very important for hormone production/balance. Has anyone heard of this? It was a first for me and I found it very interesting.
And another instance (BABY MENTIONED): My hairdresser recently had baby #2 and her DD had terrible acid reflux. They tried everything their dr recommended - feeding her smaller amounts, feeding often, not laying her flat to sleep, etc. but nothing worked. A friend told her to try taking the baby to the chiropractor. She said after only a few treatments that her DD was a completely different baby and was having little to no problems. She was also completely surprised at the amount of babies that were in the waiting room for the chiropractor - apparently this is more common than one would think?? I have never heard of taking a baby to a chiropractor and would have never thought to do that.

Re: (baby mentioned) Chiropractor
I dated a guy once who went to a chiropractor for chrons/colitis. It wasn't going to cure it, but it alleviated so many of his symptoms. Same with acupuncture.
I'm a firm believer in trying out other forms of medicine before taking a lot of drugs.
