I am 32, we recently had a failed fresh IVF and a failed FET (we are dealing with severe MFI so did IVF with ICSI), I got my period today so are starting the process for another fresh cycle. I have no issues at all - all my bloodwork, ultrasounds, HSG, hysteroscopy, etc showed all clear and good and both cycles went smooth so am frustrated that neither cycle worked. We had a very lengthy discussion with our doctor re: the protocol this time around and am feeling very confident and optimistic, their success rates are world recognized so have doubts with our docs at all. My question is this - are there any foods, drinks, supplements etc that can improve my uterine health/improve chances of implanation? I know there are a lot of wives tales out there just looking for some of you who have had IVF success what your experiences have been? Thanks!
Re: How can I improve my chances of successful implantation after a failed IVF & FET?
I did acupuncture with my IVF cycle and it was the only cycle I've ever had a really good lining thickness. Of course it was my only fresh cycle (so far) so I've got nothing to compare it to, but I think it helped and I'm debating whether or not give FET another shot without doing it or just bite bullet and do acu again.
2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14
I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
On the cycle that worked, I didn't do accu (couldn't afford it on top of the cycle), but I did meditate adn do yoga. Not sure if it worked, but it definitely helped keep me sane during the process

I followed some of the old wive's tales with our IVF cycle- I did the pineapple core divided in 5 sections and only eating/drinking warm foods and liquids after ET. DH also took supplements suggested by our RE prior to his part- I think it was CoQ10 and Vit E.
Also, I took a baby aspirin throughout the process.
