Anyone started thinking about or know what their LO(s) are going to be for Halloween? I'm having the hardest time coming up with something cute for my duo and I don't want to wait till the last minute and be stuck with the Target leftovers:) I found an adorable Max & wild things costume on pottery barn kids, but they were $80 each. Pretty sure DH would kill me if Ispent $160 on Halloween costumes. But they were adorable

DD will be Minnie Mouse, and DS we are still looking. DD's costume was $25, and I refuse to pay more for DS's. He was Thomas the train last year - hoping he will decide he wants to do that again!
Check out Old Navy - they have some cute animal costumes that aren't ridiculously expensive. Also, we got the Thomas costume on Amazon last year. DD's is from BRU, was on sale.
Old Navy, that's a good idea. I can't believe how pricey some of these costumes are! I found a Winnie the Pooh & Piglet that are cute but DH is insisting piglet is a boy & DD can't go as a boy character. I'm seriously rolling my eyes at him right now!
We didn't dress them up last year. My mom made them some cute pumpkin hats & they had Halloween outfits. My multiples group does a big Halloween carnival that we are going to so I'm feeling the pressure to get them something cute and original! I'm sure there will be a gazillion Thing 1 & Thing 2's there that seems to be the costume of choice for twins;)
DS1 is going to be a dragon because, well, he is all about dragons right now. I made his costumes the last two years, but last year I promised myself I would buy them this year. hahaha. I bought it early so he could wear it for his dragon b-day party earlier this month.
DS2 is going to be a cow. It is a hand-me down costume we got from a friend. DS1 wore it too.
Maybe some bug theme? Lady bug/butterfly wings for her, bee/dragon fly wings for him. Little antennae head bands. All stuff you can easily put on over a coat for trick or treating. (Or is that only a consideration for costumes in Portland?

I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929
I haven't come up with a costume for DS yet. I want something creative.
I saw a bumpie who had b/g twins and they were the big bad wolf and little red riding hood. It was adorable!

I love the little red riding hood and big bad wolf idea! I've looked a bit online for pre-made costumes and they are all cheesy. And I am not crafty AT ALL! I may have to call grandma and see if she wants to get out her sewing machine;)
I had other plans at first but am not crafty enough to make it and couldn't find any pre-made ones, but fell in love with this dress at BRU so Evie will be Belle from Beauty & the Beast.

Sarafuss, thank you for the Little Red Riding Hood idea! I just found the most adorable red cape on etsy, I love that website! Off to find a wolf costume for DS, but I think this is what I'm going with!
Everyone's costume ideas for their LO's sound adorable! We should do a PIP thread after Halloween! I would love to see everyone's LOs all dressed up!
Yay! I hope you can find a great wolf costume!
