Spitting water out of cup

Ladies, very often when I gove DD water in her sippy, she projectile spits it out and finds it very amusing. How can I get her to stop doing that?(and wetting her shirts) she never did that when drinking out of a bottle

THis...1)  I do a warning. 2)  Warning again with consequence out lined. (taking the cup) 3) happens again i take the cup. She screams. I go about my buisness. She stops screaming and finds something else to do... if its high chair i do the same thing and give her a drink whn she is finihed eating... She does it for attention and something to do....

  • I take away the sippy.

TTC since May 2006. After 3 failed Clomid cycles, 2 failed Injectibles/IUIs, 2 failed IVFs and 1 failed FET, we moved on to adoption!

  • If spitting is all your LO does your lucky. DD spits out her water and will make puddles on the table or floor and splash in them. I try my best to have my only reaction be to take her cup clean the mess and move on but its so annoying some times.
