Since you all know that AF is delayed etc and my DE ET is probably at least a month away, I decided it is crunch time to get a few pounds off.
I have set an 8lbs goal to get off before ET. I need way more than that but I am setting a small, do-able short term goal. Today is Day 1. I've eaten 16 points of my 29 Weight Watcher allowance....At least DH isn't home for dinner tonight so I can make a low point dinner.
What is your favorite healthy snack? Help a girl out!!

Another WW here -- GL!
Roxie -- What a great list! A few are among what I was going to suggest, but there are some new ones that I'm going to add to my repertoire.
If you're a fruit fan, can't beat that as a 0-point, filling snack. Cherry tomatoes, raw green beans, raw sugar snap peas are more go-to snacks for me.
Me: 39, Dx DOR (FSH = 10.5, AMH = 0.43, best AFC = 10), AMA
MH: 37, Dx Obstructive Azoospermia, multiple successful sperm retrieval procedures
2/2012: IVF/ICSI #2 MDLF (4R, 4M, 1F) = BFP, saw heartbeat, missed m/c 9w0d, D&E

Hard boiled eggs (no yolk) and a string cheese or cheddar cheese stick
A small piece of dark chocolate
Greek yogurt
A small bowl of cereal with skim milk (check the calories)
I rarely eat 'junk/really processed' foods but I started eating Ea.sy Mac recently. One package is 220 calories and it's warm and comforting and it keeps me full and stops me from snacking on anything else.
TTC Since 10/08 4 IUIs=BFNx4
IVF#1=BFP!! Twins!!

Pretty much ditto Roxie but with non dairy, and lots of fruit. Wishing you lots of luck with your plan and I am rooting for you on your upcoming cycle!
I've had to change my diet quite a bit due to GD...actually lost 3 pounds in the last 4 weeks. Some new snacks for me:
celery and PB
Yoplait greek yogurt (only 100 calories and high in protein)...add a few nilla wafers and it tastes like a treat!
cottage cheese with blueberries (or other fruit)
Fiber One Bars (only 90 calories)
Special K Protein Bars
Triscuits and string cheese
Breyers low carb ice cream bars. TOTALLY tastes like "real" ice cream, but made with splenda
strawberries with light whipped cream
Good luck!!! I've had to battle my sweet tooth, but luckily my cravings have gone away. (Though I would probably kill for a pepsi and a reeses peanut butter cup!)
IVF #1-July 2011 7/9/11-Started Stims

I will be having hummus with cut up sweet bell peppers for my snack today. It is delish!
While not the healthiest, I have pre portion (1/4 c) of raw peanuts and raisins as a go to if I am going to be running errands for the afternoon.
GL!
Great list Roxie! Here are some of my favorites :
- Tablespoon of hummus on cold sliced cucumbers
- Low fat string cheese
- sliced Mango
- Lowfat cottage cheese with sliced strawberries
- Arbys Jr roast beef (no sauce, no cheese) 4.5 points plus for the sandwich. Very filling
- Active and Fit Sausages : 1 points plus a stick. (My Dad found these for me at a store called Aldi in the midwest. I live in Seattle, so I pick up several packages when i'm in town)
I like to make soup and freeze in individual servings. Quick and easy when i'm hungry and only 1 points plus a serving for the vegetable I make.
When I was tracking points 5 years ago, a subway sandwich was 6 pts.. the new system is 8-10 for the sandwich I like, so i'm trying to cut back on the Subs.
I've started WW's again as well, IVF #3 is coming up in Oct / Nov.. I'm hoping to lose 5-8 lbs before then! GOOD LUCK!!!

Baby G welcomed into the world 3/7/2014
SAIF / PAIF always welcome ****
Proud of you girl but 8 pounds is a lot in a month.
Ideas:
table spoon of reduced fat p-butter and sliced apple
hummus and almost anything (I like grapes but I'm strange)
100 calorie nut pack
a few pretzels and mustard
sliced cucumbers
string cheese
fruit, ice and skim milk in the blender (smoothie)
As long as I keep it all pretty well fresh and raw, my carb filled cravings stay curbed. I am always stocked with lots of fruits and veggies, rise energy bars, San J brown rice crackers and I looooove picking up a tropical green smoothie from Whole Foods for breakfast or for an afternoon snack when possible. It is coconut water, pineapple, mango, and kale. Healthy and delicious - and it gives me great energy! Good luck!

Confession: for me, my "health plan" is easy to maintain through the week, but then the weekend hits and DH wants to go out to dinner, which leads to dessert, which leads to drinks, which leads to a hangover, which leads to hangover pizza, which leads to feeling guilty, which leads to Monday, which is where the vicious cycle starts all over again. Haha

Thanks for all the suggestions ladies!
REB- 15lbs is ridculously amazing!! I just checked out the EZ diet. I find it intriguing but I'm scared of cutting out all the "bad foods". The red wine being allowed is totally up my alley though! LOL
