Urge to Pee?

I am almost a week past my c-section and I have not had the urge to pee since the operation.  I know I have to pee sometimes based on feeling extra pressure in my stomach or I will just go every few hours, but the urge to pee is gone.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Is this attributed to the fact that the bottom half of my stomach (outside and probably inside) is numb?  Will it come back?

    It will come back. My OB referred to this as a sleepy bladder. I wouldn't feel the urge to pee for hours and hours, and when I would go, you'd think I'd never stop peeing! It started getting better after a few weeks.

    Yep, it happened to me after both c/s.  I'd realize all of a sudden I hadn't peed in hours and make myself go in the bathroom.

    It will come back.  I can't remember how long it took, but it was probably between 1 and 2 weeks.

    This is me, too. But I'm also not drinking as much as I should be, so that might be part of it.

    For a couple weeks I had to pay attention to when I had last gone to the bathroom, if not, the minute I stood up, when it had been too long, it turned into an emergency!  lol! 

    It will come back!

    It eventually comes back, but I don't think I fully got my true urge back until about 4 months.  It got progressively better over the months, but definitely not the same as pre-baby.  I just made it a habit to go every 3 hours or so; if not my belly would hurt from the pressure.
