LO is quite determined these days. He can drag his body clear across the room to get to DS1's toys. He can also nearly get into a sitting position from his belly on his own. Almost, not quite. Slow down baby, slow down!
Pilar does a military crawl. It is really cute until she gets herself stuck. She is also lifting her head up like she's trying to sit. I'm thinking it's time to enroll her into Pilate's.

Yep, DS2 has been army crawling for a few weeks now. He is pretty speedy - we have had to put the gates back up! Npow he is at the ateg where he army crawl, pauses and gets up on hands and knees ro rock back and forth a bit, then army crawls some more. So, juts a matter of time before he puts them al together. DS1 wasn't doing this until 7 months, so it feels crazy early to me.

Ds isn't very good at it. But if there is a toy on the ground 4 feet away that he wants, he'll find a way to get to it. Last night he was lifting his butt up more as he did it. I agree, they need to slow down! Don't they realize that they should be our cuddly little babies still?

DS does this too. Also, this week is sitting up on his own. I can't believe how much he is growing!
Ours ALMOST does the army crawl. He has been doing this thing we call the inchworm: he uses his HEAD and legs to scoot forward, while lifting his butt high in the air! That has been going on since month 4 began (literally, the day of his 4 month b-day, funny!) and he started rolling onto his belly and then figured out how to roll all the way. Now he is starting to realize that moving his arms helps him move too. All the while, he is grunting and whining because he can't move as well as he would like. Someone please tell me the grunting and whining stops. It gets kind of out of control sometimes!
