Chris has been sick for the past couple of weeks with a sinus infection and taking the bubble gum flavored antibiotics.  He's always been a champ at taking medicine and last night I was putting him to bed and he kept saying something over and over again but I wasn't really listening and then finally as I was tucking him in I actually heard what he was saying "medicine" (mehh ee saa)  HE remembered that he has to take his medicine before going to bed.  So I ran to the kitchen, grabbed his medicine, gave it to him and after he swallowed he grabbed his stuffed elephant and said "g'night" turned over and went to sleep.

    Awesome!  And?  I'm jealous that your kid takes medicine so nicely - both of mine act like I'm trying to shove nails down their throats.

    yep, DH and I always talk about how we are so lucky in that regard.  there is no fight whatsoever.  I think it may be because he hasn't encountered any foul tasting medicine yet.

    So cute..My kiddo did something similar the other day, also on abx for ear infection and he goes over to the cabinet and said "more".  I started to laugh.  What kid wants more medicine.  Kids are so darn cute.
