And so far it's been pretty crappy. DD didn't want to cooperate with the potty or brushing her hair this morning, then she threw a fit when we got in the car because she wanted to play with my full water bottle and I said no.
Now I have to work all day and my boss has been angry with me since July, so I know I'm not getting a birthday card or cupcakes. At least I'm going to take an extra long lunch with DH (since he has class all night) complete with my first pumpkin spice latte of the season. So that should be nice.
FFC: I asked the DC to teach DD to say Happy Birthday today so hopefully I can hear her say it tonight.

Ahh, happy birthday! I bet it will be a lot better once LO sings to you this evening.
And what is soooo fascinating about full water bottles!!? It's a daily battle in our house that he usually wins and my floor/car/shirt loses.
Lol! I know right?
Well I did get a card and cupcakes and the other staff outside of my dept handed down to me the traditional "over the hill" gift, so that was a nice surprise.
