"A" loves her jumparoo now

Lawd help me!

For about a week, she's been getting super duper excited when we put her in the Jumparoo when we eat our dinner.  So, that's cool.  It also allows us to eat dinner.  Cool!

She's been getting super fussy around 7:30pm.  We put her in her swing and she CIO (with us right there next to her) until she falls alseep.  Usually maybe 10-15minutes.

Well, last night I decided 7:30 is too dang early for her to go to bed.  DH told me to put her in her jumparoo so she can jump it out.  That girl perked right up and laughed and jumped and acted awesome for about 30 minutes.  She never got fussy.  But I decided she'd been in there too long and took her out.  We went in my bedroom and she sat up on my knees while I was laying on the bed.  We sang songs until she fell alseep there.  It was a cool non-crying way for her to fall asleep.

Guys, she probably could've stayed in there an hour.  I could've DONE SOMETHING like BAKED A CAKE or LAUNDRY while she was in there.

Please think posi thoughts for the fate of my kiddo's hips!

(as a sidenote - I think Edie might have also been in there for extended periods of time - the walker too)

  • Michael freaking loves it too.  We put him in during dinner, and when he starts to fall asleep, I whisk him upstairs to bed.  He goes to sleep great!
