Need some vibes-UPDATE
One of my dear, dear friends called me last night to get me she is PG. While it sucks and blows and all that shiz, I am happy for her. She knows of our struggles and has been very supportive. I am also VERY grateful I was one of the first ones she called too. However, we will see each other tonight at an event. I do not want this PG to ruin our friendship, but alas bitterness and resentment always come creeping out at the worst moments.
So what I am asking is for vibes that it does not get weird.
Good thing is that I get to drink wine and she can't (I know I sound like a brat) 
UPDATE-it went well. We sat at the same table but I was busy with other things that we did not have much time to talk so that made it better. No wine at this event but cake was! YAY!

This totally doesn't make you sound like a brat! You are seeing the upside of your situation, I remember being in several similar and rejoicing in alcohol consumption was what helped me be less bitter (that and probably the alcohol mitigating pretty much anything I was feeling
