OMG Tell me it's wrong!

So my husband and I decided before our daughter was born that we would not be returning to traditional birth control. At the time I was fine with that and I thought I could handle it. But I just got a positive pregnancy test and I am freaking out! Am I the only one? What will people say? What am I going to do?

    No, you're not the only one. Who cares what people say. You're going to have two babies, 14 months apart! Congrats! Once the shock wears off, I'm sure you will be excited, the kids will [hopefully] have a great friendship growing up together.

    Are you the only one what?  That's every gotten pregnant?  No.  That got pregnant after having unprotected sex? Nope. 

    People will likely say, "congratulations" or "good luck" or maybe something snarky but who gives a fluck? 

    What are you going to do?  Hopefully have a safe and healthy pregnancy that results in a beautiful healthy baby.

    This. I really don't understand peoples surprise when they get pregnant but are not using BC.

    Who cares what people say! Congrats if you are. You will handle it! I have two and it's amazing to see their interaction now that they actually realize each other are there!

    This. My first two were 12 months apart.  It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be and they are best friends now. H&H 9 months!!

    Were you not using birth control because you wanted to have another baby?  If that's the case, congrats!

    If it's because of a medical reason and you did not want to have another baby, I am sorry, and there are options. 

    Either way, it will be OK!  Mine are 18mo apart and life is starting to get super awesome.
