Does anyone's LO's have seasonal allergies? I never had problems until recently but my mom and brother are horribly allergic to everything! The past 2 years my seasonal allergies have been developing fast and hard, and this fall shift has been rough on me and it seems, even rougher on DD...
My question is... is there anything that can be done to help her? Or to even determine if it is allergies? - I've just been using decongestant drops and suctioning her nose as much as I can and making good use of those Boogie Wipes (snots in her hair, on her chest, her arms, her legs... everywhere!).
I know when my brother was 5 he went in and got stuck with just panel after panel of needles with every allergen known and that's how they determined his allergies and that he would need weekly shots. I can't imagine them doing that to a 5 year old, let alone a 9 month old! She's basically my little twin, sneezing, constant runny nose, itchy eyes and she's even playing with her ears a lot which makes me wonder if she's having problems with them feeling plugged like mine do.
Re: Lo's with allergies
I also wondered the same thing and was told that babies generally do not suffer from seasonal allergies.
I would just turn on the humidifier in LO's room for sleeping to help clear the airways.
