With all this talk about WCM I wonder what's more nutritious for LO.. WCM or formula.. I ask because enfamil has a formula for 6 to 18months it contains all the vitamins and minerals for our growing babies also it's got DHA..
I am thinking starting wcm when she is 12 months but not sure if I should also give her some enfapro a for the extra nutrients.
Any thoughts?
Re: WCM vs. Formula
It isn't really WCM vs formula for us.
It is formula vs a balanced diet. What we're aiming for is our daughter eating whole foods to obtain all of her nutrients and getting the daily required amount of calcium (for us via wcm).

Also the formula is way to expensive compared to WCM.
extenuating circumstances aside, toddler formula is just a ploy to get more money out of you.
You can't compare milk to formula because the rest of their diet needs to be healthy and balanced too.

I agree with trying to give our LO a balanced diet, I have been making her food since she started on solids and try to give her a variety to choose from. I just worry that DD doesn't eat enough in quantity each day to get all the nutrients she needs. Especially by 12 months when solids are playing a larger role in her feeding routine. I just want to make sure she is getting enough.
This would be a question for her physician then. Baby servings are small - a tbsp of this and a tbsp of that. You want to consider the intake over a few days. Some days babies will be less interested in food, some days they will be more interested.
