My big girl is turning 3 at the end of the month and I'm still not sure what to get her. She loves makeup (the play kind, not the grown up kind), so i was thinking about getting her makup sticks.
She also loves a book that her sister got for her birthday that has finger puppets, so I'm thinking about asking the person who gave it to her to get one for DD1 as well.
And that's as far as I've gotten.
DD1 is a real little daredevil. She loves to jump off furniture, run around, and overall give us daily heart attacks. lol She is also into anything that makes her a "big girl": she takes care of her "babies", loves to wear her "school bag" around, etc.
I've also considered getting her a twin size bed (she still sleeps in her toddler bed - which is a convertible crib). Just not sure how much she would like that.
Any ideas? Anyone?
Oh and please keep in mind we live in a condo, so we do not have a lot of space OR a back yard...
Re: DD1 is turning 3 - I need gift ideas!
when my DD turned 3 her "big" gift from us was a fish. we got a beta since they are pretty colors and she loves it.
my niece also has a super cute ariel makeup table that came with play curling irons and play makeup. it isnt huge imo. my DD loves to play with it when we go over there to visit.
What about a little tabletop vanity/mirror type thing to go along with the makeup sticks? That would take up less space than one of those full-sized kids vanities.

I thought this one was really cute in that the stickers and gems aren't already applied and you and your DD could have a little decorating project to do together
Those are great ideas - Thank you
Liam is really into the game Candyland. It gives us something quiet to do while J is napping. I would totally get her a board game or maybe 2. He also loves to help me cook. I know you said she's into make up, but do you think she would like her own cooking things and apron? Have you asked her to help you cook? Does she have a play kitchen?
What about a Bitty Baby from American Girl I know you're Canadian anyway, they're adorable, sturdy, and have tons of accessories.
