Hello there

Hi there! Just wanted to introduce myself. Super excited to find out yesterday that my husband and I are expecting our first child together! We each have an older child, mine is 7 and his is 5. So, I'm looking forward to reading and getting advice from other momma's about adding a new baby to a blended family.

    Hi Jess,

    Congratulations on your pregnancy!!  That is great news, and I think it's awesome you're eager to prepare your other children for a new baby. 

    While I haven't had any personal experience in this area, I wanted to hop on and let you know about some articles that Focus on the Family has on their website for blended families.

     I pray that your pregnancy goes well and your kids adjust to the new baby just fine. :)

    Yes, daves_sweetpea, I do work at Focus on the Family.

    I'm sorry that you felt it was necessary to report me, I just wanted to let Jess know that there's some information on Focus' website that might be helpful to her.  As a mother of two girls, I've found a great deal of guidance and encouragement through Focus' resources personally.  I just wanted to give Jess the option to check it out.

    I hope this clarifies that I'm a real person trying to help. Smile
