I am an idiot!!!!

Ok, So I put my baby k'tan on craigslist and someone responded and I am so stupid.  They said they would pay extra for me to hold it for them and they would send a money order and what was my address and name and phone number. As utterly stupid as I am I gave it to them but then started realizing there had to be something up.  

I told them I am no longer agreeing to it.

I googled the persons name and its a known scam and now they have my address phone number and first and last name.  I know I know I am so so so so stupid.  Should I worry about my accounts or anything?  I don't know what to expect.

    I wouldn't worry about it. That is all info they could have gotten from a phone book, facebook, or even just a google search. It is creepy and I would probably monitor everything closely for a couple weeks, but there's not really a way for them to have your bank account #'s or anything..unless you gave it to them or gave them a check, etc.

    I'm sure everyone has a craigslist story! We all make mistakes.

    I don't know how to undo the situation but I would just keep a close eye on your accounts and any unusual mail or anything that you might get and just pay extra close attention to everything. It is probably fine though.

    Yes I looked him up and apparently its a scam where he send a fraudulent money order OR he asks you to send him money or something. Once he asked those things I would have not agreed to it but why on earth would I give me information. Though I know it is all public information anyway.

    Report it to your local police and attorney general's office.  They want to know these things.

    I too would just keep a close eye on your accounts.  More than likely nothing will come of it.
