WDYT of Matthew?

I don't see it much on here but it seems like it's still pretty popular. I would say it's our top contender. We've also considered Andrew but I think DH likes Matthew a little more. DS1 is Elijah.

Yeah, I was thinking that I like the nn Matt. I don't think I would start using the nn but I can imagine that people might start to call him that in school and I would be fine with it.

I like the name in general, but I know FAR too many Matts my own age to ever consider using it myself.

I do think it would be refreshing on a baby.

I'd use Andrew with the NN Drew. (If my BF didn't already have a son named Andrew.)

Matthew is a good name. Biblical - goes well with Elijah. We also like Jonah but that might be a bit to sib-setty with Elijah... I do like Andrew too though... it's a toss up for me...

It's a great name- it's actually my middle brother's name.

I feel like I know a lot of Matts or Matthews that are my peers (I am early 30s) but not too many little kids with this name, which is nice for you if you choose this name.
