Yesterday's Tuesday Ticker GTKY asked what we loved about fall. That made me think...what is your bravery level regarding apple cider? I LOVE it, hot and cold, but if I buy it at our local cider mills it's not pasteurized. One of my favorite parts about the season! Argh.
My doctor said she is "supposed to" advise against it, even hot (?!), but that she drank it throughout her own pregnancy with no problems. Still don't know how I feel about it. Any thoughts?

"Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?...But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:26-27&33-34

I would, but I also eat raw cookie dough and lunch meat.
Apples don't grow in FL, so I can only get the bottled apple cider or packets of Wassail. Fresh cider sounds delicious.
Yuuum, cider. It gives me terrible heartburn though. I live in the middle of Oklahoma and we don't have mills and cider presses all around though, so I just get it at Walmart.
I'm 100% sure mine is pasturized. We tend to pour a gallon of it in a crock pot and start adding our own spices.
This! I cannot wait for applie cider donuts

I don't see why not!
During my last pregnancy I asked my doctor about apple cider and egg nog and they said it was safe as long as it says pasteurized on the product!
I live in Maine and I love the local apple orchards cider and it's pasteurized!
And I could not go without Hoods Golden egg nog during the holidays!!
