LOL!
So after our 20 week check up on Monday I was at home just laying on the couch, Emma kitty curled up with me, waiting for dinner, when all of a sudden little man decided he needed more room. My stomach shifted completely to the right. I mean completely. The left side was totally flattened and the right side had a big hard lump sticking out. It happened SO fast and I just yelled for Mr. Zona to come help me. He came running from the kitchen and I was all: WHAT IS THAT?!!?!?! And the poor cat when skittering away, I scared her so badly.
My extremely eloquent husband put his hand on it and said, "I think that's his ass, babe."
He sat in that position for about 5 minutes and it was pretty uncomfortable, it felt like the world's largest gas bubble trying to push through my skin, and then slowly he just shifted back to center.
Tuesday and today I've felt like I've done a million sit ups. He's shifted again like that twice, but not as drastically. It was SO freaky, in a totally awesome but totally crazy weird way.
Anyone else have this kind of movement yet?
Re: First "out of belly" experience. TOTALLY FREAKED ME OUT!
hahaha that's awesome. It is pretty strange when that happens for the first time, you're like uhh what the?? And it's only going to get worse!
My lo is already getting the point when she goes on her rampages of hard kicking it makes my whole stomach shake. It's a weird but cool feeling
My baby girl likes the right side. I'll feel her shift completely to the right and that side will be hard as a rock while the left is lower and soft. She normally only stays that way for a few minutes but its long enough normally for DH to reach over and feel her. I tell him I think she just wants to feel daddy rub her back for a second and then she repositions to fall asleep.
I bet your little one will continue to do this throughout and I'm betting mine will too.

I loved it when DS did that! he did that when I was in labor with him and I kept thinking "How are you going to get out if you don't move..." Totally fun!
Yay! So Exciting!
Last night I felt the first kick on the outside of my stomach. My DH was already sleeping and by the time he was able to place his hand on my stomach it was too late. The LO had shifted.
And it does feel like the biggest gas bubble ever when they are in certain positions.
Haha!
I had that this morning but not to such a dramatic extent! I definitely felt him shift to my right side and could feel something (head, butt, who knows!?) and see a bigger bump on that side but the left side wasn't completely flat.
