So at my 29wk appt (which was 2 wks ago), my fundal height was measuring at 33wks so my doc said she was going to have an ultrasound done at my next appt, which was yesterday. She said baby is measuring good, but the issue is I have slightly excessive amniotic fluid. She said they like to see a range from 8-25 and I'm measuring at 26. At this point, she's not too concerned about this and will just start my weekly appointments sooner and have BPP done next week. She said at this point, it could even correct itself... Anyone have any experience with this? Up until now, things were going good in my pregnancy. I did fail my 1hr glucose test, but passed my 3hr (barely). Also, what all is involved in the BPP? They just monitor baby on the ultrasound, right?

Re: Excessive Amniotic Fluid
The bpp is an ultrasound. They will check to see how baby is moving, heart rate, growth and my doctor checks blood flow from the umbilical cord and heart. They also measure amniotic fluid. I like these ultrasounds because I have seen the baby opening and closing his mouth, playing with his feet and just being adorable.
