cio update

So thanks for your standing cio advice. He cried for a hour at midnight so i gave him 2 oz and he drank that so fast so i nursed him and hw went to sleep till 6:45. So from this im thinking ge is hungry not just fighting going back to sleep? So today im going to try more oz per bottle i guess and less nursing maybe my milk is to low.

    An hour is way too long. If you are going to do CIO please at least read Ferbers book and do it right.

    To the previous poster I used the Sleep Easy solution and we waited an hour and it worked for us. I did not do intervals either since it bothered my LO and he is fine and STTN. If your training is slightly different you need to do what is correct for you and your baby.

    I didnt let him cry unattended ..i went in gave him love ... repeat . Attitude in check thanks he isnt neglected he is stubborn he goes to sleep fine he just wakes up and want to snuggle. I gues i should clarify that im not following ferber like a rule book. The cio concept isnt exclusive to Ferber. Im doing what i can. Trying to do my best

    Thanks for the help! im trying thats all i can say. Thought maybe other people maybe having a similar trouble and i know i like to hear how its working for them

    An hour is still a long time, even attended. It sounds like your LO is waking up hungry.

    People feel very strongly about this topic...just do what feels right to you and don't worry about what others say.  You may have already tried this, but have you thought about not going in to do the checks?  At least with my LO, that only made him more upset because he thought I was coming in to get him...when I didn't he freaked out.  Good luck and be strong!!  I know how hard it is...
