Team pink/blue/green? We found out yesterday we are TEAM BLUE!! I started to tear up when she told us, I just knew he was a boy. On the car ride home, I played Savage Garden's "I knew I loved you" meaning it to be a joking gloat song for my DH because he thought girl at first, but the song totally made me cry!
Weight gain/loss (if you feel like sharing)? 18 lbs I think. Ouch!
Decided on names? Not yet....hopefully that will change now that we know.
Have you started the nursery? Any fun themes? The nursery is clean and empty. We did order a nursery chair (a regular recliner) and picked out a paint swatch (a turquoise-y blue). I think I want to do a "fish friends" theme and put fish decals all over the blue walls.

How are you feeling? Good. A little less tired - I'm sleeping better at night, only getting up once a night to get a drink/pee.

Have you started the nursery? Any fun themes? Nothing. The room is still our office. We have a futon in there from my aunt/uncle and they're going to come over to help us take it apart and take it back. Once that's done we'll start thinking about what we really need and where it can go considering we have a desk, and a bookshelf in that room that we'll be keeping in there. I did some really cute wall design (peel and stick) at a local baby store on Sunday.

Then: Fraternal twins born at 26 weeks in 1983. Me: 640 grams. Brother: 840 grams. Family kept watch in the NICU for 5 months before being allowed to go home. On oxygen for a year and a half after being released.
Now: Me: PhD student and married. Brother: Lawyer and married.
Dad's wedding speech: Thank you to all the family who stood watch and prayed for our children's survival. Well now the little scrawny chicken is married. Who would've thought? (Thanks dad for making me laugh and cry at the same time).

How are you feeling? Pretty good. Still struggling with irritability and emotions, but otherwise good. My right hip/back/leg has been bugging me lately though.

Have you started the nursery? Any fun themes? No. We're finishing our basement and until it's done, the nursery is serving as a make-shift basement. There's crap everywhere. We really only need to paint it to match the bedding, as it was already set as a nursery for our two boys.

How are you feeling? Pretty good! My calf is really sore from a spasm that woke me up the other night, but aside from that I'm doing great!

How are you feeling? Really good! Still have the unexplained hives going on and really bad back/hip pain, but I'm making an appointment with a chiropractor today so hopefully that's better soon.
Cravings? Nothing really. I just eat whatever sounds good at the moment.

Baby will be sharing a room with SD and I'm not finding any gender neutral bedding I like so we're going to wait to decorate and stuff until after baby comes. If baby is a girl though, I think we're going to be having an owl themed room as per SD's request.

How are you feeling? Pretty good, sleep is so-so at the moment and trying to get used to the added pressure on bladder as baby continues to grow.

Have you started the nursery? Yes, i have crib, glider, new rug, new curtains. Need to order the dresser and it will be done. Went with greens and browns theme to keep it neutral for when baby gets older. No point going all out for a baby theme that they will want to change in a less than five years when transitioning to toddler. Im all about keeping things simple.

How are you feeling? Pretty great before this crappy cold invaded. Besides feeling horrible from this cold, I can't complain about much else. I really, really hope that this lasts for the rest of the pregnancy, lol.

How are you feeling? Pretty good as long as I don't have a migraine. My bones are starting to hurt again, but a trip to the chiro ought to help with that.
Cravings? Junk... I've moved on to root beer floats (only AW root beer with all natural vanilla ice cream haha) and cookie dough ice cream. I seriously have to fight the urge to eat them all day every day!

Decided on names? yes - her name is Delilah May. May is for DH?s grandmother who recently passed away as it was her middle name. DS has my father?s middle name - Edward.
