Round and Round We Go

So, we reached an agreement on TEMPOARY orders in July. SD refused to sign them. My lawyer put in a motion to enforce the agreement. He fired his lawyer and got a new one. The motion was delayed. The motion went before the judge, and they tried to block the motion. The judge ruled in our favor. That was at the end of August. He gave it 2 weeks, then he filed a motion to review the temp orders. I have no idea why. My attorney is flabbergasted. This is a good deal. He gets Tues/Thurs 5 to 7 and EO Sat/Sun 10 to 1. He gets more time than the state recommends. The first words out of our facilitators mouth were, "Well!! He certainly gets a lot of time with the baby! Good job!"

They're temp orders, for crying out loud! Stop delaying, start attending the meetings with the facilitator, and we'd be on the way to an agreement already ! We think it might be child support, but that is set by the state at 20 percent, 759 before back and medical. Yes, it's a lot of money, but he MAKES a lot of money. Rant over.

    Its prolly about his money...when men work they tend to feel that gives them a higher power? My ex (this baby's father) makes about 3500/mon, doessn't have to pay rent bc its his parents rental house, his mom pays his car insurance bc he messed up his licence so for him to get insurance on his own is ridiculously high, she pays his phone bill, gas bill, property taxes every year...all he pays for is food (take out at best), smokes, weed and vodka rockstars. He has 2 boys from a previous relationship that he just won't see-he has an order to do an anger management course so he can see them but he refuses to do the course bc "he'd be admitting he did something wrong" -thats a mans mentality for ya. He does pay 480/mon for child support for them and only bc its ordered that he will spend 3 days in jail for every day hes missed.Hes gonna be shitting himself now that he will prolly be forking out a whole weeks pay for CS once this baby comes. And to top it all off hes got his new heffer pregnant..the one he cheated on me with. GOOD JOB BUDDY. I'm soooo happy to be alone now! LOL

    But yes I totally get your frustration, courts can take forever as it is and him delaying it is just ridiculous. Just keep pushing through, deep down you know whats best for your kids :) Good luck mama!!
