My baby isn't a baby anymore . . .

I figured DD2 would be slightly ahead on crawling and walking being so close in age to her big sister. However when she started getting on all fours and rocking this weekend I had a melt down because it was starting so soon. I still want my baby to be a little cuddly baby. Then tonight I walk in from grabbing something in the kitchen and she is sitting up all by herself (I left her lying on her back) just playing with a toy. She did it several more times while I was watching tonight. I can't believe how big she is getting already! Time is flying way too fast.

    I know. Mine is wearing 12 month clothes and practically filling out college applications.Crying

    I feel the same way. Last week when I tried to sit her up she just flopped forward immediately. Last night I sat her up and she sat there! I mean I was supporting her but it was such a huge change in a week.

    Then when she did fold over it was to attempt to get into a "Crawl" type position.

    I was like WTF! I almost flattened her down with my hand as she was rolling around the floor pulling her knees up. It is all going too fast.

    I cry a bit when I pack up boxes of her little clothes. My baby is no longer a tiny baby, now she often doesn't even want to snuggle as she wants only to see what's going on and eat my hair while clawing my face. Crying
