Daughter CONSTANTLY wants to sleep with me

My 3 1/2 year old daughter constantly is ending up in my bed at night. We recently moved in June due to seperation, so Im not sure if thats why. She's never had any isues before. She doesnt complain of being scared, she just wants to sleep in my bed with me. Sometimes I can get her to fall asleep in her bed, but then when I wake up for work in the morning find that she came in my bed in the middle of the night and has been sleeping with me. It varies on the time she comes into my bed. There have been a handful of nights the past 3 months that she has actually slept the whole night in her bed. How can I get her to stay in her own bed?

I would let her sleep with you a little bit longer. It is probably a very though transition for her and she needs to know that you will be there for her. She might be afraid that you will leave her as well.

I agree that it's probably just a reaction to the recent changes in her life and she is seeking the extra security. I wouldn't worry about it right now - maybe give her a bit more time and then try the pp suggestion to offer some sort of incentive if she does stay in her bed. Whatever you do, I wouldn't punish her for coming to you in the night and make it really clear that she can always seek your comfort in the night if she needs it!
