Tomorrow, I have to take DS in to get the rest of his 1 year shots. We also go to a Bible study in the morning - DS is in a room with seven or eight other kids, all older than him (as far as I can tell). I can't skip tomorrow because I have to help out with the kids. I might be able to be in the same room as DS, but I don't know yet.
My plan is to get to the clinic for his shots when it opens, then go to the Bible study. He has never had a reaction to shots, except maybe needing an extra long nap.
The other option is to go right after the Bible study, but he would be pretty cranky and ready for lunch and a nap. We would likely have to wait since they would be short-staffed during lunch. I know DS will scream when he gets the shots, and I just imagine it being ten times worse if he's also hungry and tired.
Am I missing something obvious? Is there some reason that I should wait until after the Bible study?
Re: WWYD - shot-related
Good point - distraction would be good. I'm just hoping he won't be too cranky.
Agree, I would get it out of the way first thing in the morning.
