I miss cuddling DD without her screaming and throwing her head back because she wants to crawl around

I miss when changing diapers were easy

Don't get me wrong I am glad DD is growing up...but some things I miss!!

I'm with you, I'm glad that DS is growing up, but I really miss the easy diaper changes!!

I miss that little pout DS used to do when he was hungry, tired, or just wanted some cuddles. It has sort of faded away...

I also miss being able to take cute pictures without DS rolling over and squirming away. These days, I get more pictures of the back of his head than anything!

i definitely miss the newborn cuddles and us taking naps together. on the flip side though, i definitely do NOT miss the hours of screaming. oh, the screaming.

i miss the ease of going out to eat and having him content in the infant seat. he's been out of it for almost 3 months now, but now that he's much more inquisitive, i miss him chilling and me eating.

I miss snuggling a lot. She will snuggle now, but only if she sees I'm sad, or she's really tired. otherwise, she's got too much to do!

I miss eating a hot meal. Now if I don't feed her fast enough she goes crazy... and we all eat together... those are the rules... so I microwave mine after she's done.

I love watching her grow, and learn, and the wonder in her eyes. I will miss that someday, but for now, it is fantastic and the whole reason I get out of bed in the morning.

I miss the breastmilk only diapers as well. I'm glad I'm not the only one. I thought I was weird for thinking that...

I also miss her startle reflex where her arms and legs would all shoot out to the side at the same time. It was so cute and funny.

I TOTALLY miss the non-stinky breastmilk only poop! I also miss not having to think about DS's meals...now I have to meal plan for him!

I miss him falling asleep in the car, easy diaper changes and when he would snuggle and not try to wiggle away from me to go explore!

I miss that feeling, early on, when we'd do skin-to-skin. The newness, the baby smell, the first EVERYTHING (time in stroller, time in car seat, sleeping in swing, meeting relatives/friends)....

I miss those itty bitty dressing gowns. I miss swaddling. I miss being home all day long with the only responsibility being keeping the little one alive and happy

I don't miss the hormones.... that was intense! But I'd live through those emotional surges everyday for the rest of my life for this experience

Oh my... I can't believe I didn't write this. I sobbed like a baby when her first tooth came in, because I couldn't call her my "gummy bear" anymore.

Even worse, I just got really upset about that just now again. What a loser.

Here are the two that came to my mind first.

I miss him snuggling and falling asleep right on my chest. I miss being at home all day with him and just sitting and staring at him for hours.

LOL I guess a lot of miss the BM poop. This makes me want another baby also:( They truly grew up too fast!!

I miss eating alone. Now everytime I eat DD is crawling all over me trying to get my food haha!

I miss her playing in one place.....but it's so fun watching her explore!

I miss her quiet noises....but her new loud ones have so much more personality!

I miss the ease of just bottle feeding...but she makes the funniest faces with solids!

I guess I'm not very good at this haha.

I miss when he nursed without biting!!!

I miss him sleeping in our room.

I miss the Rock n Play and this he does too.

Mostly, I miss the cuddles.

I loooove this age though, he has so much personality.

The days before teething and separation anxiety. He's a Major clinger now and he used to bop around happily when we were with other people. Now I can't even turn my back and he freaks!

Ohhh you all are making me.so sad!!! I had to go through clothing again this weekend and it makes me see how big.he is.sooo sad and happy
