sad about DC :(

One of the morning teachers quit and I am so bummed.  LO was always so happy to see her every day and would reach for her as soon as we walked in the door. Thankfully, this is the first teacher that has quit in his room and he's been there since he was 3 months old.  He'll be going to the toddler room soon so I guess it really doesn't matter all that much.  But I know we will both miss her.

  • I'm sorry to hear that. We lost a favorite teacher too, over the summer. But thankfully she moved up to the next age group so DD will have her again in a few months. I feel like as parents, we get just as attached as our LOs! :)

  • I completely understand. Both of my girls lost excellent daycare teachers recently Both of them had been teachers at daycare since my oldest started there, and I miss them both. My toddler really loved her teacher. She still asks me where she is. That's hard.

  • That stinks! I agree in that we get attached too, it's comforting knowing that LO has someone they like there. We also lost the lady in the childcare room at my gym  ( I know it's not exactly the same, but I teach classes there 3 days a week)  DS loved her, so it made me sad when she left!
