Ok, Martha Stewart, get out your camera and take a pic of a recent masterpiece! We're talking anything?a knitted afghan, scrapbook page you're proud of, perfectly baked and iced cupcakes, a mural of your cat wearing a bonnet, your kid's first crayon scribble, a video of yourself doing an original rap about a cat that likes to wear bonnets...

Re: Post Your Pics Tuesday -- Something handmade
I'm not sure if this counts since I got some help, but it is a close to handmade as I'm getting these days!
I made these for Artichoke's and Zucchini's daycare teachers when we had to switch daycare and recently when they both moved up to the next room.
I got the picture from Skip to My Lou, printed it out as a 5x7 picture, attached a cut Starbucks coffee sleeve, inserted a gift card, and signed the boys' names. Easy peasy and the teachers LOVED them!
I also made about 5 or so extra to have on hand for random thank you's to use in the future!
I'm new, but I hope y'all don't mind if I play.
This is my football season wreath I made last week. The "GEAUX" (aka GO) is actully purple, though it looks blue in the pic.
How about 2?
These are "root beer float cupcakes" - my MIL saw the idea in a magazine, they are chocolate cupcakes with root beer (although we couldn't taste the root beer lol) a marshmallow frosting put into ice cream cones with little straws, sprinkles and cherries on top for garnish. This was 99% my MIL, she is much more creative than me. I just helped : )
Kind of a dark pic but this is a wreath I made for Easter.
Ok, here's what I've been up to:
DH got me a Le Creuset oven for my 30th birthday 2 weeks ago, so I've been cranking out crusty bread every couple of days. Dang, this stuff is good!
This is a microwave heating pad filled with cherry stones (cherry pits). I make these and sell them on Etsy as a fundraiser for our adoption, and I've been cranking them out like CRAZY lately for a big craft show in early October. Oye. Lots of work and money spent on supplies, so I am crossing my fingers for a sunny day and a good turnout!

Ellekae, that bread looks amazing! And I love that idea for the cherry stones!
Talk to me about the Le Cruset oven? Is it one of the dutch ovens? How on earth to you make bread in it? Must start doing this immediately.
Do you have a link to your Etsy store? Those look like great Christmas gifts.
Cute stuff ladies!!
I'm not a huge crafter, but Cohen and I made this one afternoon for his new brother or sister's room (which is also my sisters' room when they visit).
I printed out the tree online.
The quote is by Christina Rossetti, and one of my favorites.
"For there is no friend like a sibling in calm or stormy weather,
To cheer one on the tedious way, to fetch one when one goes astray,
To lift one if one totters down, to strengthen whilst one stands."
The leaves are his itty bitty finger prints :-)
I think it will make a cute keepsake in the future.
Love this!! So many talented ladies on here, lots of great ideas!
I painted this back in December for dd. We had gotten her a pink retro-style kitchen set for her 1st birthday, so this kind of goes with it:
I painted this for a little relative!
Painted these for my niece and nephew's bathroom
Painting this right now for my friends' new baby (they are adopting!) I'll add his name in the next day or two:
Made these out of scrapbook paper for dd's Cinderella-themed birthday party this weekend:
And my next big project -- redoing this 'vintage' dollhouse for dd -
Wow!!! There are some incredibly talented and creative ladies on this board. I love this idea of posting handmade crafts. I absolutely love the tree with the child's fingerprints. I think I just got my idea for the grandparents' Christmas gift.
And I am looking up the Cherry stone heat pad on Etsy. So cool!!
Again, everyone has such talent!!
