Aw for a second. We had the best day.

This has legitimately been the best day we've had since Hank was born. We have nice days all the time, but he's a generally very fussy and high needs. Lately bedtime and nap time have been a warzone at our house with Hank screaming bloody murder and nursing like crazy (my nips are worse right now than when he was a newborn).
Today was full blown awesome though! First he soothed himself to sleep this morning which he has done maybe three times in his life. Then we went to our first swim lesson which was ultra fun and he just looked so adorable with his little belly protruding out from his bathing suit. He soothed himself again during nap number two which lasted for TWO hours!
After lunch we went to our library drop in group and then we came home and he slept well again, this time for for two hours, 45 minutes. Our big day really tuckered him out.
After bath and books he nursed quickly and with no fight at all went to bed and soothed himself to sleep again. Seriously. BEST. DAY. EVER!!

Dh is taking him next week and they have matching bathing suits (it was coincidental as the bathing suit I got DS was the only one I could find, but I'll be honest and say I'm not above putting them in matching clothes). I'll take a pic of them together next week.
