I have pretty normal skin, maybe a little on the drier side of normal, but not much anymore. I went through a lot of cleansers and have learned that the chemicals in most cleansers were what was drying out my skin so much. Since I stopped using them, my skin has never been better.
I currently use Dr. Woods lavender castile soap with shea for my face and body. Before this I was using Dr. Bronner's original peppermint castile, which DH still uses. I like the lavender one better because it has shea in it, so it's nicer on my skin. Also because it smells better.
I got to this because I considered the oil cleansing method that lots of folks on the Eco-Friendly board use, but the whole thing seemed really intense to me. This is essentially the same thing (oil-based cleanser), but easier. Also partly because my DH has some kind of psoriasis on his hand, the is pretty sure that all of the fragrances and chemically soaps and cleaning products were contributing, so we have been trying to get rid of all of that stuff in our house.
I had really oily and acne-prone skin and pregnancy seemed to intensify it. I went from using store bought cleansers, to using the oil cleansing method, to just "washing" with hot water and towel. There was a transition period from my skin adjusting from being cleaned everyday to nothing, but once that period was over (about 2-3 weeks) my skin is the clearest it's ever been. I break out once or twice during my period but that's about it.
Olay Quench bar soap. It's what I use to wash my hands at home too. I have very dry skin, and it's the only thing that doesn't leave my face feeling tight after washing it.

Normal to dry skin.
I use Boots Botanicals from Target (they only sell it at Target). I love their face wash, daily moisturizer and night cream. The price is right too.

Normal-to-oily skin. It's not nearly as acne prone as it was pre-pregnancy!
I use Clean and Clear in the mornings. I rotate this a lot, so I finish one bottle, then will try something else.
My night time cleanser is always a rotation of Purpose and one of the DDF formulas.
I also like Dr. Bronners!
For just a regular cleanser that isn't the most eco-friendly but works fantastic is Purity by Philosophy. Love it!
