Arnica during and after labor?

Hi ladies!  I posted this on the Natural Birth board, but I wanted to get your thoughts on it too...  Just wondering if any of you STM's have experience using Arnica during and after labor.  I'm 34 weeks pregnant and want to go as natural as possible, and honestly, the thought of using Arnica literally just popped into my mind as a possibility.  Obviously I'm going to do my research and talk to my doctor about it, but I wanted to see if any of you have experience using it during and after labor and wouldn't mind sharing your thoughts!

    If you are talking about the plant, why?  It has been proven time and again to be just as ineffective as a placebo.

    This is one of the things I read about taking it.  Obviously it's bias, which is why I just wanted to see if anyone has taken it and it has actually worked. https://www.arnica.com/?p=37

    I don't think I took Arnica last time, but I definitely disagree with Arnica just as good as a placebo effect.  I have a 21-month old and we have given him Arnica many times.  It is amazing to see what a difference it makes for when we don't have any on hand.

     I would think that it at worst wouldn't change your recovery, but at best, it could really help your healing down there.  Definitely check with a doctor, but it was a good idea to think of!
