Hey guys (update)

My computer is down but I am at my parents after Willows appointment and I wanted to update you all.

My parents havent smoked in 3 days. I am very proud, after my fathers diagnosis I was sure he wouldn't quit. Hopefully they stick to it. He is officially diagnosed with Diabetes, COPD, high blood pressure. He is on a ton of meds but out of the hospital.

Willow had her appointment with the doctor today about her eyes. She thinks she may be developing a lazy eye as well but cannot be sure since she doesn't specialize in eye care. She refered us to a specialist. We will be seeing him on October 25th.

She said that the earlier the treatment the better and they can start treatment as soon as an official diagnosis is made either with a patch or drops. She said that after 6 months if left untreated it tends to have to be surgically fixed and can go into vision damage fast. So we are doing the right thing by being pro-active.

She is such a sweet kid. I hope it isn't something too bothersome for her.

I miss bumping but my damn computer is at it again. It may be a few days before we are back online. Hope everyone is doing well and to bump with you all soon.

    That is really awesome news to hear about your parents. I hope mine will see the light one day.

    And I hope Willow's appointment goes well.

    That is awesome with your parents! Keep encouraging them along the way! I hope that willow's eye doesn't get very bad and that it can be treated before any damage is done. Please keep US update too!
