I just read your post and it says that you're from outside of Philly!

Part 1, I've been reading your posts with a southern accent because you are from Nashville. But, it seems you would not have a southern accent, huh!

Part 2, I live outside of Philly too!

    Heh, well FWIW, my dad says I have a southern accent sometimes!!! I've been here 6 years and have definitely picked up some twang in my accent! Interestingly, my H doesn't have one at all and he's lived here forever. Most my friends have accents and his don't which is why I think there is a difference. I lived with sorority sisters for 3 years who had deep accents.

    Where are you from!?!? I'm from Doylestown/New Hope. I miss it so much!

    That is so funny that you are picking up the twang and your H isn't. I'm always that weirdo who has to try really hard not to speak with an accent with talking to someone who has one. My aunt and uncle live in Mobile and whenever we talk, I always have to try hard not to talk like them. It's so catchy!

    Did you move there because of your H? Or for a job or school?

    I am from Delaware County and now live by West Chester. I really love this area, but I've always lived here, except for college. Think you'll ever move back? Doylestown and New Hope are super cute. H and I took a little babymoon to a B&B in New Hope. We went to Peddlers Village and to Hotel du Village. It was so nice.

    I moved here to help my mom who was sick and attend college. Met H at school so I stayed! I'd really love to move back but the cost of living is so different and expensive. PA is beautiful and in comparison to TN it's like a vacation. Eh, TN isn't that bad but it's not home.

    My first job was actually at Skips Candy Corner in Peddlers Village. I grew up about a mile from there! It's such a lovely little area with great culture and history! Ahh I'm feeling sad thinking about the area. What a small world though... I love meeting people on here that are from/near by my hometown.

    WCU was my dream college growing up!! Beautiful area.

    I was totally at Skip's!! We picked up little gifts for everyone from there. What an awesome place to have your first job.

    I am super close to WCU and we are always in that area for dinners or walking around. Hopefully someday you guys will relocate back here. And until then... at least you have Elvis. Stick out tongue

    Heh, yay Elvis! Next time I am in town I will let you know. I've made friends with a few fellow bumpies in PA and we were talking about a GTG!

    I am so sorry to bust in, but ahhhh!  I'm from Delaware County, Ruby!  I went to WCU my 1st year of college actually.  This is crazy!  I'm from crappy Collingdale, where are you from?  We should do a former and current PA bumpies gtg in December!  Sorry for all the exclamation points, this is really exciting, lol.
