LOVE! I love my dog. I think that she thinks she is in fact human. She crawls between me and my husband on our bed, lays down on her back, between us, with her head on our pillows looking at us as if to say"whats so wrong with this?? Im human too you know...."
And she is a little dog. Who doesnt bark. True story.
Dh used to let the smaller dogs up on the bed and the older one would always wiggle her way between us and then flip to her back with just her head and little arm out of the covers. She was the only dog I had when we started dating so she used to get spoiled a whole lot.
Aww! I love it! We adopted both of our dogs, so it works for us, haha. It took quite a bit to get our tan pittie to sleep on the floor next to the bed, instead of in the bed. It's a good thing we started making her sleep in her bed well before Zoe came, because she still tries to sneak in every once in a while. The blue pittie sleeps with our roommate, so she didn't get kicked out.

I love the white and test, they are so cute! Our boxer like to seek up on the bed, he doesn't do it as much now, but when I was pregnant he would in the middle of the night and lay on my legs which did not feel good at all.
Oh I love it. Our adopted pittie sleeps on our bed (correction, in the middle if dh and me up by our heads) during the winter. She and DS are already buds. I had DS and the pup on the bed last night and the pup roster her head on DS's boppy. I was killed with cuteness.
I took a pic and was about to post it on Facebook, but then I realized you can see a very naked dh showering in the background so I had to delete it.

aaaahahaah, that would have been so funny if you posted it before you realized.

Yeah it would have. I would have one really angry dh though. I can only use my aloofness for some excuses. I don't think it would work here.
Our Berner used to sleep on our bed always until the baby came. I said to DH, no more dog in bed, it is just too much hair. He was sad to be relegated to downstairs.
Everything about the baby has made life much worse for Ozzy. He looks at us now with mournful eyes. His eyes say "why guys? why did you do this? we had a good thing going didn't we?" Poor ozzy. He was our only child for 3 years and now he has to learn to share. He is very sweet and gentle with the baby though, he lets her pull his fur and he licks her face.
I think over time he will be really happy about it, when she gets old enough to play with him properly.
I don't know if we'll ever tell him he is adopted. I feel like he doesn't need to know

I get this look all the time too! I feel bad but I don't want them on the couch to cuddle anymore because ds is up on here now a lot of the times.
I feel bad too. When I had ozzy only, and no baby I felt like I would NEVER change how I felt about him even when I had a human baby. But it did happen. Now I get freaked out becauase of the hair everywhere. He sheds a ton. So she is rolling around and there are dog hairs on her, and she rubs him and gets a fistful of hair every time... ugh. I try not to be too worried about it, and someone told me that if babies grow up in households with animals they tend to get less asthma etc.
Also I worry that he will accidentally crush her with one of his giant bear paws. He is a sweet guy but he is big clumsy oaf..
