I was looking up something on the TSA website before responding to a post on another board, and I came across this:
"Passengers cannot leave babies in an infant carrier and attempt to put it through the X-ray machine."
Who would do that? I remember seeing a bit in a movie (Airplane?) where they told a lady she could only have one carry on, so she handed over her baby in the carrier to be checked as baggage. But in real life? They have to tell people they can't send their infant through the x-ray machine?
You know if they have the rule, then someone has attempted it before.
Has anyone else come across any other crazy rules lately that made you wonder why they had to make the rule?
Re: I wonder why...?
// I love you too. //
Someone just did this recently, actually. The parents forgot to get a passport for the baby when they booked the trip so they tried to carry him on. Poor kid.

What is wrong with people?
That's terrible! I don't get people, I really don't.
Mine is a little less serious. My cucumber melon hand soap has a big warning on the back that says, in all caps, THIS IS NOT FOOD DO NOT EAT. I had to giggle, I think that someone must have tried to eat (drink) the soap for them to put a warning like that on the bottle.
There is an episode of My Strange Addiction where a woman has to sleep with her hair dryer on in her bed. There was an update show and she said she has had many people contact her saying they have the same addiction. I guess it isn't all that uncommon.
