Epi pain...

Anyone else still getting random lower back pain from the epidural? I played tennis tonight again and my lower back hurts so effing bad. I want to cry. I've played several times since having DD, but for some reason tonight it didn't agree with me.

Re: Epi pain...

  • Mine will randomly ache but it has never been bad pain. Sorry.

  • Yes! I randomly get pain in the spot I had my epi. I read that it could be persistent up to a year after, but sometimes longer :/

Dang...I hope it doesn't persist. It hurts so bad i don't know if I can sleep tonight.
  • That does not sound fun at all. I had a spinal tap before and never had issues even from that, beside a really bad headache from trying to get up. You can sit up for a few days.

Sadly I can still have issues that stem from DD1.  My lower back pain has been intense lately, but I am pretty sure it's due to my being out of shape, not anything else.  I need to find someone to do at home yoga with or something.

Yoga did help me the first time around BTW, so if it's something that interests you, you may want to look in to it!

Yoga actually sounds wonderful right about now, if I weren't laying in bed...lol. Thanks! I may try the DVD I have tomorrow!
  • I broke my tailbone when I had Wyatt. Between that and the Epi spot, there are days where I can hardly move. It sucks. Balls. A lot of balls.
