I could not tolerate grapefruit in any form. If I could smell or taste it I got sick. Even grapefruit scented candles/cleaners would send me running. Same thing with mushrooms. Those started later on at the end of 1st tri.
My go to meal was ramen noodles. All the salt made the queasiness subside for a couple hours. And I couldn't get enough bread with butter.
First time I had terrible sickness. I think a lot of it was that I worked in a kitchen through first tri. Any kind of veggie has me gagging. Chicken wings, or anything else you ate off the bone was terrible. French fries, as unhealthy as it was, was my saving grace many days.
Second time I was less sick, but still felt terrible. Thank you sea bands. I couldn't handle looking at, cooking, or smelling raw meat or chicken. I'm pretty sure I would have died without cereal, Frosted Mini Wheats were all I would eat for a few weeks I remember.

I couldn't stand the sight or smell of most foods but the things that really got to me were eggs and meat.
Honestly, gummy bears. I lost a lot of weight during first tri and the Dr told me to just try to eat anything I could keep down. Oh, and slushies were awesome! Which is really weird because normally I hate slushies because I think they are too sweet. Pregnancy gave me the biggest sweet tooth ever.
I couldn't stand most food for about the first 13-14 weeks. Spinach was the worst- the smell of it would just make me gag. I was on zofran until the day I delivered so my entire pregnancy was full of food aversions. I would like something one week and the next week it would sound disgusting to me. I couldn't do meat for a long time.
My go to foods were usually saltines or pretzels. And jolly ranchers and ginger ale saved me many times- especially at work! I had this husband and wife who came in to their appointments together once a month and they reeked! I swear they never saw the inside of a shower. It killed me to see them the first few months of my pregnancy. I would pop a jolly rancher in my mouth and try not to breathe to deeply. I just prayed I wouldn't throw up in front of them. It was terrible.

what was/is your go to food for the first tri? pretzels and ginger ale every day on the way to work, even if it was 7am.

Re: s/o morning sickness
I was blessed with very little m/s. But, when I did, it was because I was around raw meat, any kind of meat. Grocery shopping was the devil!
Saltines were what really helped me, or toast with a little bit of creamy peanut butter.
Same thing with mushrooms. Those started later on at the end of 1st tri.
My go to meal was ramen noodles. All the salt made the queasiness subside for a couple hours. And I couldn't get enough bread with butter.
I didn't like meat either, but chicken made me feel very ill.
I ate alot of special K cereal. Alot.
The smell of meat cooking. Or anything cooking really.
I made a frozen pizza once and it about sent me over the edge. I barely cooked for 6 weeks.
H made these hamburgers out of ground bacon and beef once and the memory of them cooking still makes me queasy.
I ate a ton of peanut butter and jelly and turkey sandwiches (and I didn't even heat the meat first *gasp*)
Eeeeeverything made me sick. But I was also in a high-stress, high-altitude environment.
Eggs were the WORST though. We had mandatory meals, so I had to smell them at least two or three times a week. I still retch thinking about it.
