I went with the Boulevard, because it may be better for side impact protection. I was worried that the wings would annoy my daughter, but they don't seem to. Overall, she seems comfortable and I'm very happy with the seat.

This. No problems at all with the Boulevard. I'd buy it again.

I have the Boulevard and bought it because it seemed more comfortable than the Marathon (a little extra padding). It was also on sale at the time. However, I also have a Graco MyRide 65, which I bought as a second convertible when I had started working again as a backup seat in DH's car (I did most of the drop off pick up). I LOVE the Graco much better than the Britax and so does my daughter (older daughter - who can tell me). It is much more padded and comfortable and the position of the kid in it seems more comfortable. I also feel that the straps are much easier to use. The Britax straps constantly get stuck and I have to put all of my body weight into it to tighten them. I have been meaning to sell off some of my baby stuff so I can guy a new Graco for DD#2. She's in the Britax and just seems so uncomfortable in there. Just my opinion, but I would check the Graco's out too.

Me too. I got her the cow print one and i love it. Also when she falls asleep she lays her head on the wings so they help! I will definitely buy another one for my next baby
I have both (Boulevard for my car and Marathon for DH's). If I were to buy again I would just get two marathons. She is still rear facing and constantly grabbing onto the sides of the seat to pull herself forward so she can see around the wings. She is much more settled and content in the Marathon. Not sure if this will be alleviated once she is forward facing, but at this point she is much happier in the marathon. For what it's worth, when I asked my doctor what her kids used she told me the Marathon. I do agree with a PP about using the headrest as a pillow though; my DD does do that. Also, I find that the Marathon is WAY easier to get her in and out of. I typically end up kind of smooshing her into the seat to avoid the headrests on the Boulevard. Again, this may be alleviated when she is forward facing since I won't be trying to squish her between the headrests and the seat to get her into her carseat.
We went with the Boulevard and I wish we had gotten a Marathon. Just like PP, I feel the wings make putting DS in the seat more difficult and they also drive him crazy. He does not sleep in the car ever, unless it is a long roadtrip (two in 6 months) so the wings being comfortable for sleeping haven't done him much good. I'm expecting DS2 in January and we'll definitely go with the marathon this time.
We have both, and I don't really have a preference. I love them both, but my son is outgrowing his boulevard rear-facing already, so I just replaced it with a Graco Size 4 Me. I think I might actually like it more than my Britax seats. It will last us a long, long time.
We have the boulevard and my parents have the marathon- he can see better out of the marathon but has a much harder time sleeping in it- his head falls all over the place with the smaller wings. He loves both though, never complains! I like the boulevard better.
