Re: NBR: What's for dinner this week?
You caught me at a good time, I was just going over this
Tonight and tomorrow night DH has work dinners...which means I'll have whatever I can throw together quickly
Spaghetti and Meatballs and salad (one of the few things I cook very well)
Seafod Chowder and salad
Salmon, roasted potatoes, and spinach
Stew and salad
Some kind of chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and corn
Pretty boring here! The weather is getting much cooler, my crockpot will be getting a workout this week!

Oh my. I have been slacking in my planning. I am usually very good at having it all together. This week I do, so I'll play along.
Pepper Steak alfredo with rigatoni (we had this last night DD LOVED it!)
grilled chicken breast, rice pilaf, broccoli
Rosemary pork chops roasted red potatoes, green beans
Meatball hoagies, salad
That's all I had to plan for this week... We leave on vacation Wednesday night after dd goes to bed (6 hr drive) and won't be returning until Monday. Hopefully I will have next week planned before we leave.
We only have 3 dinners this week as we are leaving town on Thursday.
1. Fish tacos
2. grilled split chicken breast, zucchini cakes, grilled peppers
3. Chicken Caesar salad wraps
Keylime- Thank you for posting the link for your corn tortillas!! I just made flour tortillas and was thinking of looking up a corn recipe.
No problem!! I love this recipe! I can't find the organic Masa Harina that the recipe talks about, so I use Maseca (I can find it easily in the Mexican aisle at the grocery store). Also, if you plan to make a lot of corn tortillas, get a tortilla press!! You can get them on Amazon for around $20, but I just went to a local Mexican supermarket and found one (cast iron) for $15. I love it!!
1. White Chili
2. Lentil Tacos
3. Poppyseed Chicken over Rice
4. Grilled Cheese/Tomato Soup
5. Hot 'n Ready
M - Tikka Masala Chicken with brown rice and green beans almondine (I really like the Tikka Masala sauce from Target)
Tu - Hawaiian Chicken with pineapple and left-over brown rice
W - Hamburger Helper (I know, I know... I'm not proud of it; it's a guilty pleasure...)
Th - Pork chops with baked apples, creamed spinach, and spaetzle
F - Chicken paillard with roasted red potatoes and corn on the cob (this is the recipe I use for the chicken. He says to cook it on high, but it will burn if you do that. I cook it on medium for 2 - 3 minutes per side.)
Chicken Pot Pie
Grilled Chicken, grilled veggies (zuccini, red peppers, red onion, and squash)
Messy Gisuppee (Rachel Rays twist on Sloppy Joes)
Grilled Chicken Ceasar Salad
Steak Subs fair style MMMMM
Tonight: leftovers from our visit to my mom's this weekend (YUM!)
Tuesday: pork carnitas in the crock pt
Wednesday: leftovers
Thursday: turkey burgers w/ sweet potato fries
Friday: go out
I am out of town for the weekend, so DH is on his own.
Come on over...though I must say, vacation food sounds more fun!
