LO has thrush

Great! Just Great! Took DS to pedi because he wasnt eating much for the last 3 days. I mean like he would eat 1-2 oz every 4 hrs but cry like he was hungry so i knew something was going on.....yep! thrush! started him on nystatin liquid but he spits it out no matter what I do.......anyone have any suggestions for meds?

    Try putting it in way back and to the side. Squirt out a little, pull the dropper out, and lightly blow in his face. That should get him to swallow.

    Good luck. Meds are a PITA.

    Sorry you are dealing with thrush.  If ds won't take medicine, sometimes I pump an oz into a bottle and add the meds to the bottle.  I feed him the bottle before I nurse him.
