J does this sometimes, and by the time we change her, it's all caked to her butt. I love that she doesn't wake us up, but I don't know how they can just poop and keep on sleeping. Babies are weird.
L only pooped in her sleep 1 or 2 times and that was when she was a newborn. When she poops she needs a lot of concentration so she wakes up, but usually she does morning or afternoon poops. She does like to poop while eating though! Does that all the time.
Yeah when he was a newborn. But now he doesnt really poop at night too often. Lou's poop is weird in general. I feel like his excersaucer is his laxative. Because i put him in and Bam, pooping overload. Or he will not go for a day, and if he skips a day its up the back poop.
V doesn't usually poo overnight. But we load her up with a nice thick layer of A&D every night just in case. Plus, it protects her from any pee wetness too.
He's only done it once since he was a newborn and it was the night after his 4 month vaccines. He slept through it, but badly. That night was brutal. I thought at one point that I could smell poo, but didn't trust myself.
He hasn't pooped at night since he was around 2 weeks old (not that it helped with STTN), but at least every other day, a poop interrupts a nap. I can always tell too, by looking at the monitor. He sleeps on his belly or side, and if he poops he lifts his tush in the air like "Mommy, I know you're spying on me! There's poop here!"

C did this Friday night and when I changed him early Saturday morning I felt really sad. I felt like a horrible mother for letting him sleep that long with poop on him. I figured he would have cried. I didn't know though and this is the first time he has ever did this.
He did when he was smaller and pooped every 2 minutes, but now he only goes once a day or every other day and it's almost always during the day. He is usually awake when it happens.
She's woken up like this the last two mornings, but it's more like diarrhea. I think she's teething. I feel bad because it can't be comfortable, but thankfully she hasn't gotten a diaper rash from it.

Now I'm paranoid and do a smell check often.
