First ear infection...ugh

I was really hoping that Kate would stay ear infection free for as long as possible, considering Ella had chronic ear infections and needed tubes. Hopefully she doesn't follow in her big sister's footsteps...fingers crossed!

Re: First ear infection...ugh

  • Hope she feels better ASAP. How did you know it was an ear infection? JW as I've suspected it but don't want to sound stupid if I call the pedi. I've lightly (like, VERY lightly) pulled/touched his ears and no reaction but I'm still not sure what to look for.

    Thanks!

She has a cold, and just became increasingly fussy the past couple nights. I pressed in her ear ( lightly), and she started shrieking in pain.

DD1 was never sick. A major indicator was the frequent waking in the MOTN. I always felt like "that mom" when I called because I was paranoid...her infections would just sneak up on her. However, I always went with my gut feeling, and took her in. Most of the time I was right.
