MIL bought us a Safety 1st Alpha Omega convertible carseat. I'm in the process of researching this specific one, but am curious if anyone owns a Safety 1st carseat (of any kind)? I was wondering about ease of use and durability, obviously safety, etc. I had been looking at another one and we're trying to decide if we want to take this one back. But that makes me feel bad because they were nice enough to buy it and surprise us!

Re: Anyone have a Safety 1st carseat?
Our "bucket" seat is made by Safety 1st. It's awesome, easy to use, and "idiot proof" (if you don't have the base, it has bright yellow markers for where to thread the seatbelt through and has the installation instructions for each method clearly ON the seat instead of needing the instruction manual)..
IMO if you've got two vehicles, I'd use it in one instead of returning it.
We have this car seat.

We like it pretty well. Getting it in a vehicle is a chore, DS looks pretty comfy in it. My favorite thing is how safe it seems.
