5 Months and not eating. Would you worry?

Baby girl has been a pretty decent eater.  Averaging 25+ ounces of formula a day. For the past few days she has been eating less.  Today, she has fought eating and has really only had about 7 oz so far.

Any ideas? Would you worry(call pedi)? Possibly teething? (my sons 1st tooth was at 9 months, so I would be surprised if it came in early.

Thanks gals!

  • DD has just been doing this too.  She has stopped finishing all of her bottles, so instead of knowing she has had 25oz, I know I am offering 25 oz but she is leaving 1 to 2 oz in each bottle.  I think its a normal phase children go through and I haven't started worrying about it, but it would never hurt to call the pedi.  IF the doctor says "you are being silly, don't worry" well thats actually a good thing :-)

  • Really no others signs.  Same old happy girl.

If it persists, I will call the pedi, but their default answer usually is, "bring her in", and I am hoping to avoid that.
